At Marshall Dennehey, diversity and inclusion are foundational to who we are and how we practice law. This commitment has long been championed at the highest levels of firm leadership. Our Executive Committee consisting of G. Mark Thompson, Matthew S. Schorr, and John J. Hare, along with those who came before them, have consistently reinforced that an inclusive culture is essential to our continued success. Diversity is not separate from our mission; it is integral to it.
We define diversity broadly and intentionally. Beyond ethnicity, we are dedicated to creating an environment where women, LGBTQ+ individuals, neurodiverse professionals, individuals with disabilities, and people from all backgrounds are supported, valued, and empowered to succeed. We believe that cultivating a diverse workforce and ensuring that diverse voices are heard strengthens our firm, enhances collaboration, and leads to better outcomes for our clients.
Our commitment is grounded in action and long-standing progress. Our history of promoting and advancing minority attorneys spans more than three decades. Today, several minority attorneys hold leadership roles throughout the firm, including on our Board of Directors. Diversity is equally reflected throughout our professional and administrative teams, with leaders of varied backgrounds guiding departments such as Information Technology, Human Resources, and operations across our offices.
We remain focused on recruiting, developing, promoting, and retaining diverse talent at every level. Through intentional efforts and a culture of inclusion, Marshall Dennehey is committed to being a place where all individuals can build meaningful, lasting careers—and where diversity continues to drive our strength and success.

2025 DE&I Attorney Meeting and Dinner
On September 25, attorneys from across our 19 offices came together in Philadelphia for our annual DE&I Attorney Meeting & Dinner. Organized by Rachel Ramsay-Lowe, shareholder in our Roseland office, with support from DE&I Committee Chair, Buck Buchanan, the program offered space for connection and conversation. From roundtable discussions guided by our minority shareholders, to socializing over dinner, we celebrated progress while continuing the work of shaping a more inclusive legal community.
