Lauren is a member of the Casualty Department, handling cases related to general liability, automobile liability, premise liability, and New York State Labor Law matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Lauren worked at a midsize firm where her practice focused on automobile, transportation and trucking and general liability matters. During her career she also worked at a large firm in Midtown Manhattan where she represented national insurance carriers in general liability, New York labor law, gaming, and hospitality-related risks, as well as working as in-house counsel for a national insurance carrier.
Lauren graduated from The State University of New York at Geneseo with her Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing. While at Geneseo she was inducted into the National Order of Omega Honor Society.
She earned her juris doctor from the Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. While in law school, she served as President and Secretary of the Touro Law Women’s Bar Association. Due to her commitment to women’s rights, she also received the Barbara Mehrman Scholarship from the Suffolk County Women’s Bar Association. She also received CALI awards for courses focusing on the Holocaust and the Law as well as Human Trafficking. In addition, she worked in Touro Law’s Elder Law Clinic assisting elderly and at-risk adult clients with guardianship issues, estate, and long-term care planning, and understanding public benefits.
