Candace is a member of the Professional Liability Department, where her practice is focused on advising and representing employers in a variety of matters, including alleged employment discrimination and retaliation, unemployment, and wage payment and collection issues. She also represents and defends public entities, including schools and municipalities, police officers, public officials, and administrators in civil rights and municipal liability claims.

In 2007, Candace earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Tourism & Hospitality Management, graduating cum laude from Temple University. In spring 2014, Candace earned her juris doctor from Widener University School of Law, graduating cum laude and in the top 20% of her class.

During her time in law school, Candace was the Articles Editor of the Widener Law Journal of Law, Economics, & Race. She was also a member of the Moot Court Honor Society, and her team won first place in the 2013 Gabrielli National Family Law Moot Court Competition. Additionally, Candace participated in the Intensive Trial Advocacy Program (ITAP) and was the Vice President of the Black Law Students Association from 2012 to 2013.

While at Temple University, Candace was in the Honors Program and was the recipient of a Temple Merit Scholarship. Similarly, she was a Widener Full Merit Scholar throughout her law school career from 2011 to 2014.

Prior to joining Marshall Dennehey, Candace served in various roles within Temple Univeristy's Office of Institutional Advancement. She also worked as a legal intern at ACE in the summer of 2012. In 2013, Candace joined Marshall Dennehey as a summer associate and then clerked during her third year of law school.
