Attorney recently obtained a defense verdict in favor of a bowling center in a four-day jury trial. Plaintiff alleged she fell due to an unidentified condition on a bowling lane approach supposedly created by regular lane stripping and oiling activities. She underwent surgery for right shoulder impingement and was later diagnosed with thoracic outlet syndrome for which a renowned hand surgeon recommended another surgery with dismal prospect of complete recovery. The jury returned a unanimous verdict in four minutes.
