Attorney obtained a defense verdict in a medical malpractice jury trial

Attorney obtained a defense verdict in a medical malpractice jury trial. The 71 year old plaintiff completely lost vision in her left eye after undergoing cataract surgery. Both the plaintiff and the co-defendant ophthalmologist alleged that defendant failed to appropriately administer the anesthesia causing the plaintiff to move multiple times during the course of the surgery. The jury found no negligence on behalf of the insured.
