Daniel Sherry Inducted Into the International Academy of Trial Lawyers

Daniel J. Sherry, shareholder in the Health Care Department in Marshall Dennehey's King of Prussia office, was inducted into the International Academy of Trial Lawyers (IATL) at the organization's recent international meeting.

The IATL's purpose is to cultivate the science of jurisprudence, promote reforms in the law, facilitate the administration of justice and elevate the standards of integrity, honor and courtesy in the legal profession.  Membership in the IATL is highly selective and is offered only to lawyers who have demonstrated skill and ability in jury trials, trials before the court and in appellate practice, and to those who have attained the highest level of advocacy.

As the vice chair of Marshall Dennehey's Health Care Liability Practice Group, Mr. Sherry devotes his practice to complex health care liability matters including brain injury litigation and medical malpractice defense. For more than 30 years, he has represented hospitals, physicians, health care providers and medical professionals of all types in the defense of medical professional liability claims. He has been involved in numerous high-exposure cases ($1 million or higher) involving the coordination of multiple experts and dealing with issues such as standard of care, causation, life expectancy, damage claims, economic losses, and more.

A graduate of Notre Dame and Temple University School of Law, he is a member of numerous legal organizations including the American College of Trial Lawyers, the Pennsylvania Defense Institute and the Pennsylvania, Chester, Montgomery and Delaware County Bar Associations. He has been recognized among the "Top 100 Attorneys in Pennsylvania" and "Top 100 Attorneys in Philadelphia" by Pennsylvania Super Lawyers for the last eight years.
