Christopher Block Elected Chair of Real Estate Committee at Professional Liability Defense Federation

Christopher B. Block, special counsel in the Roseland office of Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin, has been elected Chair of the Real Estate Committee of the Professional Liability Defense Federation (PLDF). Founded in 2007, the PLDF is a national, not-for-profit organization for attorneys, claims professionals and risk management specialists to share expertise and information helpful to the successful defense of professional liability claims.

At Marshall Dennehey, Mr. Block focuses his practice on professional malpractice matters brought against real estate professionals, appraisers, lawyers, insurance agents and brokers, and architects and engineers. As a member of the firm's Casualty Department, he also concentrates in the area of general liability including premises liability, product liability and dram shop/liquor liability.

Mr. Block is a member of the American, New Jersey, New York and Essex County Bar Assocations. A graduate of Widener University School of Law and the University of Pittsburgh, he is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York.
