On the Pulse…About Our Doylestown Office

Marshall Dennehey’s Bucks County office is located in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, the county seat. Bucks County is just north of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and is one of the three original counties founded by William Penn in 1682. Steeped in history, yet firmly planted in the 21st Century, Doylestown is a favorite tourist destination. The legal community and a vibrant social scene all mesh seamlessly in a compact downtown area. Doylestown is known for being the home of many notable figures, including James A. Michener, Oscar Hammerstein II, Pearl S. Buck and current day star, Pink.

The firm opened the Doylestown office in 1981, and it is currently located in The Fountain House, significant for its inclusion on the National Register of Historic Places and its position in the center of Doylestown. The office is conveniently located only one block from the newly opened Bucks County Justice Center. Built at a cost of nearly $90 million, the Justice Center has state-of-the art multimedia tools in every courtroom.

The office is managed by R. Anthony Michetti, who handles a variety of cases, including premises liability, auto, medical and other professional liability and municipal tort claims. Tony is also the co-chair of the firm’s Liquor Liability Practice Group.

J. Bruce McKissock heads the firm’s Aviation Practice Group. He has extensive experience handling complex litigation involving product failures, business disputes, and interpretations of contracts and insurance policies.

James H. Cole leads the firm’s Special Investigations Practice Group. Jim focuses his practice on Special Investigation Unit and property damage claims. Within his area of practice, Jim is experienced in bad faith and coverage issues.

Michele Frisbie handles a wide range of cases, including premises liability, professional liability and auto claims. Michele has a special interest in cases involving the sale, appraisal and management of real estate, as well as claims against insurers, brokers, agents and attorneys.

Jennie Philip focuses her practice primarily in the area of insurance fraud and property damage claims. This practice also includes claims for breach of contract and bad faith.

Katharine Mooney is our newest member. While assisting all of the attorneys in the Doylestown office, she has gained experience in first-party, casualty and professional liability matters. Katie has also independently handled premises and property damage claims.

The attorneys in the Doylestown office take pride in providing exceptional value and service to our clients. We stand ready to assist in any way and look forward to the opportunity to work with you.
