Troy devotes his practice primarily to first party defense coverage matters, with significant experience in the litigation of claims involving residential and commercial sinkhole disputes, hurricanes, windstorm and residential water and mold damage. In his casualty practice, Troy is a member of the SIU Department where he handles PIP fraud litigation and medical provider investgations. He handles regional PIP disputes throughout the state of Florida on behalf of our clients.  During his career, he has also handled cases involving premises liability, wrongful death, and earth movement. 

Prior to pursuing his legal career, Troy enlisted in the Navy, later receiving a commission through completion of the University of Pennsylvania’s Navy ROTC program. He served two tours of duty as a Surface Warfare Officer, including participation in Operations ENDURING FREEDOM and IRAQI FREEDOM.

Troy obtained his undergraduate degree from Drexel University. In 2006 he received his juris doctor from Stetson University College of Law, and in 2008 he received his L.L.M. in Intellectual Property and Information Law from the University of Houston Law Center.

Troy is a member of the Florida Bar and is admitted to the United States District Courts for the Middle District of Florida and Southern District of Florida.
