
Samuel is an associate in the firm's Casualty Department where he currently handles general liability matters.
Samuel graduated with honors from Hampton University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in political science. In 2009 he received his juris doctor from Thomas M. Cooley School of Law. While in law school, Samuel served as a judicial extern to The Honorable Joseph J. Farnan, Jr., in the United States District Court for the District of Delaware. He gained valuable experience researching and writing opinions on matters that involved civil rights, employment, and criminal law. During the summer of 2008, Samuel worked as a law clerk for the Delaware Department of Justice.
Upon obtaining his juris doctor, he served as the law clerk to The Honorable Charles H. Toliver, IV, in the New Castle County Superior Court. In his role, Samuel was responsible for research, writing court opinions, and routine motions.
As a law clerk in the Delaware Attorney General's office, Samuel assisted with criminal appellate briefs that were later argued before the Delaware Supreme Court. He prosecuted misdemeanor traffic cases and developed strong counseling skills as a volunteer at a legal assistance center.
Samuel is admitted to practice in the state courts of Delaware and New Jersey.
