
Robert Stanko is an associate in the Casualty Department where he works on a wide variety of cases, including product liability, motor vehicle and premises liability.
Prior to joining Marshall, Dennehey, Warner, Coleman & Goggin, Rob served as a law clerk to the Honorable Thomas G. Saylor, Justice of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. In this role, Rob was responsible for drafting responsive and majority opinions, reviewing allocatur docket filings, and preparing bench memoranda.
Rob graduated from the Pennsylvania State University, Dickinson School of Law in 2008. During law school, he interned for the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, Criminal Prosecutions Section, where he handled research assignments, drafted motions, and prepared legal memoranda for various criminal issues— most notably, public corruption. Rob also participated in the summer associate program at the Philadelphia firm Conrad O'Brien, where he gained experience with respect to complex commercial litigation.
Rob earned his undergraduate degree from Villanova University in 2005 with a major in communications and a minor in english. While in college, he volunteered for Villanova's Special Olympics Program, in which he coached participants in various athletic events.
Rob is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
