Monica is an associate in the Cherry Hill office of Marshall Dennehey. As a member of the Health Care Liability Practice Group, she focuses on medical malpractice and health care litigation.

Before joining the firm in 2011, Monica was an associate with the law firm of Parker McCay, where she represented hospitals, nursing homes, physicians, nurses and other medical personnel in complex medical malpractice and personal injury matters. She successfully obtained no fault judgments at arbitration, participated in mediations and obtained summary judgment on several cases, helping to successfully defend two summary judgment rulings on appeal.

Monica received a Bachelor of Arts in American Culture from Vassar College in 2001 and was elected vice president of the senior class. She is presently active in the Vassar Alumni Association and serves as president of the alumni class of 2001. She has also served as an alumni admissions interviewer since 2001. Monica attended Villanova University School of Law and received her juris doctor in 2007. While in law school, she participated in the Farmworkers Legal Aid Clinic, representing people who are living and working in agriculture and agriculture-related settings throughout Pennsylvania in a variety of legal matters. She was also co-president of the American Constitution Society.

As a legal intern for the Pennsylvania Department of Medical Care and Reduction of Error (MCARE) Fund, Monica worked closely with MCARE representatives to evaluate claims and determine litigation strategies and case values. As a legal intern for the American Association for Housing and Services for the Aging, she assisted legislators and lobbyists in crafting policy initiatives for nursing homes. Monica also served as a law clerk for the Honorable John T. McNeill, J.S.C., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Camden County, Criminal Division.

Monica is licensed to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and is a member of the Burlington County and Camden County Bar Associations.
