
Michael ("Misha") concentrates his practice in commercial litigation, primarily the areas of first party and third party insurance coverage and bad faith defense. Michael also assists claims professionals with coverage issues arising in claims investigation, including written coverage analysis, examinations under oath and pre-litigation coverage disputes. As well, Michael has experience with issues arising under commercial property, CGL, professional liability, commercial crime and fidelity, commercial and private automobile and trucking, and homeowners' policies of insurance, as well as performance bonds and warehouse receipts.
In 1999, Michael graduated from Hunter College, CUNY. He then received his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2003. There, Michael served on the management board of the Virginia Tax Review and was selected to join the University's moot court teams in Jessup International and Vale Corporate moot court competitions.
Upon graduation from law school, Michael served as a law clerk to the Honorable Stuart Peim, Superior Court of New Jersey, Law Division (Union Vicinage). Michael also has professional experience in the areas of information technology, project management, and quality assurance.
Michael is fluent in Russian and Ukrainian.
