Lucinda E.C. James

Associate

    Lucy is a member of the Casualty Department and primarily focuses her practice on defending insurance carriers in Personal Injury Protection claims.

    Lucy graduated from the T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond and received her J.D. in 2017. While at the University of Richmond, Lucy was a John Marshall Scholar and was a Justice on the Honor Council. Lucy earned a B.A. in Anthropology and minored in Philosophy at Muhlenberg College, where she graduated a semester early.

    Prior to joining Marshall Dennehey, Lucy began her practice in the Brooklyn Housing Unit at The Legal Aid Society, where she represented low-income tenants in Brooklyn Housing Court. Over her four years at The Legal Aid Society, Lucy handled hundreds of Housing Court cases and gained extensive litigation experience. 

    Lucy is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey.
