Jim focuses his practice on aviation, product liability, and commercial litigation matters. As a member of the firm's Aviation Litigation Practice Group, Jim represents aircraft operators and owners, component manufacturers, a major airline, and airports. He has experience in all facets of commercial and general aviation and, in his practice, advises on regulatory matters, contract negotiations, issues arising from the sale of aircraft, and international law.

Jim also has significant experience in product liability and commercial litigation. Prior to joining the firm, he was a member of litigation teams responsible for the defense of pharmaceutical companies involved in multidistrict litigation. His present commercial practice involves representing businesses involved in contract disputes, class action litigation, and lawsuits governed by the Uniform Commercial Code. Jim also has experience with arbitration before the Court of the International Chamber of Commerce, and he serves as outside general counsel to a regional aircraft maintenance facility.

After graduating from Widener University School of Law with high honors, Jim clerked for the Honorable Juan R. Sanchez of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Prior to entering private practice, he was a pilot for a major commercial airline and holds an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and Gold Seal Flight Instructor Certificate.
