Hillary provides legal counsel to municipalities, lawyers, accountants and businesses throughout New Jersey. She handles a variety of matters, including employment law, F.D.P.C.A., defense of municipalities involving the New Jersey Tort Claims Act, defense of cases involving the Charitable Immunity Statute, C.E.P.A. claims and professional liability defense, i.e., legal malpractice, accountancy malpractice.

Prior to joining Marshall Dennehey, Hillary was an associate for three years at the firm of Budd Larner where she handled insurance coverage and reinsurance cases.

Hillary graduated from Benjamin Cardozo School of Law and is admitted to the New Jersey and New York bars.

Significant Representative Matters

  • Dismissal of suit alleging violations of the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination plead against a New York company which is located in New York and conducts all business in New York.

  • Dismissal of suit alleging malpractice against an associate in a law firm who had no responsibility for the actions of the partners.

  • Dismissal on the pleadings granted in case involving allegations of gross negligence resulting in a near drowning of a child.
