Doug joined Marshall Dennehey in 1999 and has practiced extensively in a wide range of litigation, with an emphasis in the areas of product liability; amusement, sports & entertainment liability; consumer fraud; and product warranty litigation involving motor vehicles, boats, homes and consumer products.

During his legal career, Doug has handled nearly 500 warranty litigation matters representing some of the nation's largest auto manufacturers. He has successfully tried several cases to jury verdict throughout the state of New Jersey, has had multiple bench trials, and has argued before appellate courts numerous times involving Federal and State product warranty issues.

In recent years, Doug has handled an increasing number of cases within Marshall Dennehey's Amusement, Sports, and Entertainment Litigation Practice Group, which defends theme parks, water parks, roller skating rinks, golf courses, ski areas, bowling centers, minor league baseball stadiums, concert venues, sports stadiums and arenas.

Doug is a 1991 graduate of Penn State University and received his juris doctor from Michigan State University College of Law in 1999, graduating with honors. He was a member of the MSU College of Law Moot Court Board and served as Director of Oral Advocacy. While in law school, Doug worked for two years as a Referee within the Juvenile Division of the Probate Court in Eaton County, Michigan, conducting over 150 juvenile delinquency hearings.

Prior to law school, Doug gained over four years of valuable litigation experience as a legal assistant in a large defense litigation firm in Philadelphia, concentrating in the areas of insurance coverage, environmental litigation and product liability involving medical devices.
