Health Care Liability Practice Group

The firm represents individual physicians, dentists, oral surgeons, registered nurses, certified registered nurse anesthetists, midwives, psychologists, podiatrists, chiropractors and other health care providers throughout the jurisdictions of Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, Ohio and Florida. For a number of years, our firm has represented the Pennsylvania Medical Professional Liability Catastrophic Loss Fund in Section 605 cases. Members of the firm also represent numerous hospitals and other health care institutions, including surgical centers and health clinics.  This practice group includes lawyers who concentrate a substantial portion of their practice in the defense of matters involving dentists and long term care facilities.

The attorneys in our practice group have handled virtually every type of medical malpractice claim, ranging from emergency department and OB/GYN claims to pedicle screw and breast implant cases. One of our members tried the first cardiac transplant case in Pennsylvania to a defense verdict. Attorneys in the practice group have handled credentialing issues, licensing issues and have dealt with investigations involving governmental agencies.

One of the major strengths of our practice group is our ability to handle matters in a multitude of venues and in five states. The firm's ten offices in Pennsylvania; two in New Jersey; four in Florida; and one each in Delaware and Ohio enable us to provide coverage throughout these states.
