Mobile Trial Teams

Between January 1, 2003 and December 31, 2004, MDWC&G attorneys tried 787 cases to verdict. These cases involved allegations of bad faith, insurance fraud, medical malpractice, elder abuse, products liability, sexual molestation, legal malpractice, police abuse, unfair employment practices, dram shop liability, premises liability and a host of cases involving other theories of liability. During this time, Marshall, Dennehey, Warner, Coleman & Goggin attorneys also tried multi-plaintiff asbestos litigation matters, cases involving the multi-district litigation panels in the Federal Court system, and class action matters.

While Marshall Dennehey has offices in five states, its attorneys have tried cases in both federal and state venues in 23 states. In 2005, thirty-five Marshall Dennehey attorneys were identified in their respective jurisdictions as "Super Lawyers". Eight of Marshall Dennehey's lawyers are listed in the publication Best Lawyers in America. Attorneys of Marshall Dennehey are members of the American Board of Trial Advocates and are members of the American College of Trial Lawyers, two of the most prestigious organizations dedicated to lawyers who try cases and which insist as a condition of membership that its members have taken jury verdicts in a minimum of twenty-five cases and most often more than fifty cases.

The number of cases taken to verdict by attorneys at Marshall Dennehey between January 1, 2003 and December 31, 2004 was not unusual. In fact, for as long as Marshall Dennehey has been keeping statistics on the numbers of cases that its attorneys try each year, Marshall Dennehey attorneys have been trying in excess of 100 cases per year to verdict. These numbers do not include cases tried to arbitration panels, tried non-jury or tried in alternative dispute resolution forums.

Most important to our clients is that Marshall Dennehey has identified a group of senior trial attorneys who are willing to take on cases for trial on short notice and are willing to travel to foreign jurisdictions at the request of Marshall Dennehey's clients. As a general proposition, these attorneys are able and willing to work with local counsel or counsel whom have already been retained by Marshall Dennehey clients. Moreover, while these attorneys have their own teams specifically designed to work with them, these teams can be redesigned to take advantage of the strengths of local counsel or of the attorneys who are already involved in the case.

Marshall Dennehey has specifically designated twelve trial teams for this practice group. All of the attorneys listed below who chair these trial teams have tried a minimum of fifty cases to verdict and most have tried in excess of one hundred cases. Each of these attorneys have specific expertise and all are willing to try cases on short notice and try them to verdict in jurisdictions outside the five states having Marshall Dennehey offices. In addition to the trial attorneys listed below, Marshall Dennehey has also identified associate attorneys with superior writing and research skills, paralegals, secretaries and technical support personnel who can support the trial team to whatever extent is necessary including the creation of "war rooms" and smart court rooms.
