Shannon Fellin (Harrisburg, PA) is one of the female lawyers featured in a May issue of Central Penn Business Journal which highlights top female attorneys in the area.

Jay Hamad (Roseland, NJ) presented the defense perspective as part of the MRSA and Hospital Infections-Plaintiff and Defense Perspectives, and Epidemiological Overview teleconference sponsored by Mealey's Litigation Conferences. The conference sought to highlight the various issues surrounding litigation arising from the infection, diagnosis, and treatment of MRSA.

The Conference of County Bar Leaders (CCBL) of the Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA) has honored William Scott Jr. (Bethlehem, PA) with its Chief Justice John P. Flaherty Award for his commitment to the CCBL, the Pennsylvania and Carbon County Bar Associations, the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, and the Pennsylvania Bar Foundation. The award was presented during the 43rd Annual Seminar of the Conference of County Bar Leaders, February 27th, in State College, Pennsylvania.

Bradley Remick (Philadelphia, PA) was elected to the Board of Directors for the Penn Wynne Fire Company.

Jeffrey Rapattoni (Cherry Hill, NJ) presented to the New Jersey Property Loss and Risk Professionals Association regarding public adjuster fraud. The presentation provided the organization with claims handling best practices, as well as preferred litigation strategies concerning large loss property matters.

Jason McNicholl (Harrisburg, PA) recently participated in the Institute for Paralegal Education (IPE) seminar The Paralegal's Guide to Proficient Medical Records Translation in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He spoke regarding Preparing Medical Information for Use at Trial.

Niki Ingram (Philadelphia, PA) has been appointed to the Commission on Judicial Selection and Election.

Philip Toran and William Conkin (Philadelphia, PA) are contributing authors to Thirteen Things Every Insurance Agent & Broker Should Know, an eBook published by AgentsofAmerica.ORG. The eBook will be available online from AgentsofAmerica.ORG in the Spring of 2009, and it will become part of an ongoing series of publications to be produced by this professional association. Written by lawyers from around the country, the eBook focuses on risk management and other complex insurance matters. The eBook will be available to members and non-members of AgentsofAmerica.ORG. The chapter written by Toran and Conkin is titled "Growth of Mold Coverage and its Limitations."

Katherine Keefe (King of Prussia, PA) and Theodore Kobus (Philadelphia, PA) served as speakers at Prospects for the Future: Golden Opportunities or Fool's Gold?, a seminar sponsored by the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS). The conference took place between November 5 and November 7, 2008, in San Francisco. Keefe was a panelist in a discussion titled Never Say "Never Event": New Healthcare Risks and How They Are Managed. Kobus acted as a moderator for the first topic of the day, Walking the Data Security Tightrope: What's Below?

Niki Ingram (Philadelphia, PA) and James Pocius (Scranton, PA) served as speakers at the 17th Annual National Workers' Compensation and Disability Conference® & Expo, a seminar sponsored by LRP Publications. The conference took place between November 19 and November 21, 2008. Ms. Ingram's lecture was titled Independent Contractors and Traveling Employees: How to Support Them and Keep Your Costs Down. Mr. Pocius covered two breakout sessions: Medicare Set Asides: What Are Your Questions? and How to Avoid 10 Costly Litigation Errors.
