Jay Hamad (Roseland, NJ) presented the defense perspective as part of the MRSA and Hospital Infections-Plaintiff and Defense Perspectives, and Epidemiological Overview teleconference sponsored by Mealey's Litigation Conferences. The conference sought to highlight the various issues surrounding litigation arising from the infection, diagnosis, and treatment of MRSA.
The Conference of County Bar Leaders (CCBL) of the Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA) has honored William Scott Jr. (Bethlehem, PA) with its Chief Justice John P. Flaherty Award for his commitment to the CCBL, the Pennsylvania and Carbon County Bar Associations, the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, and the Pennsylvania Bar Foundation. The award was presented during the 43rd Annual Seminar of the Conference of County Bar Leaders, February 27th, in State College, Pennsylvania.

The eBook will be available online from AgentsofAmerica.ORG in the Spring of 2009, and it will become part of an ongoing series of publications to be produced by this professional association. Written by lawyers from around the country, the eBook focuses on risk management and other complex insurance matters. The eBook will be available to members and non-members of AgentsofAmerica.ORG. The chapter written by Toran and Conkin is titled "Growth of Mold Coverage and its Limitations."
