On the Pulse ... Our Doylestown, Pa. Office

By R. Anthony Michetti, Esq.*

Bucks County was one of the three original counties founded by William Penn in the 17th Century. Bucks County is situated in southeast Pennsylvania, just north of Philadelphia and south of the Lehigh Valley. As a major crossroads in a largely agricultural area, Doylestown became an important village in the county, ultimately leading to its designation as the county seat of Bucks County. Today Bucks County has over 600,000 residents and continues to be one of the fastest growing counties in the state.

In the 1980's, Doylestown was rediscovered, and a renaissance of its downtown area has led to many restaurants and shops opening, making it a destination for many visitors. The borough is home to the world famous Mercer Museum and the James A. Michener Art Museum. Despite the growth and development of the past few years, Doylestown has maintained its charm and small town quaintness.
