On The Pulse...Profile of our King of Prussia, PA office

On March 1, 2005, Marshall, Dennehey, Warner, Coleman & Goggin completed its consolidation of the former Newtown Square, Plymouth Meeting, and Norristown offices into one office in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. There were many reasons for this merger, including enhanced service to our clients, more efficient use of resources, and reduction in operating costs.

In our newly consolidated office, we now have 34 attorneys with a strong representation from each of our practice groups: workers' compensation, professional liability, casualty, and healthcare liability.

Shareholders Joe Santarone and John Gonzalez and their associates handle municipal liability, civil rights, employment, legal malpractice, and an array of other professional liability claims. Audrey Copeland adds an additional dimension to the Professional Liability Group as an appellate attorney. Joe Santarone heads this group.

Shareholders Paul Tatlow, Frank Wickersham, and David L. White comprise our Workers' Compensation Group, which is led by David L. White. They each handle workers' compensation and unemployment compensation claims in Montgomery, Bucks, and Delaware Counties.

We have 14 attorneys completely dedicated to the handling of healthcare liability claims. In addition to the defense of traditional medical malpractice claims, our attorneys are seasoned in the areas of long-term care, physician credentialing, licensure defense, pharmaceutical defense, and health law issues. Kate McGrath heads the group with the assistance of Kevin FitzPatrick and Dan Sherry. Steve Day leads our Long-Term Care Group, which is a sub-specialty of healthcare liability. Steve Ryan leads the Pharmaceutical Defense Group. The founding partner of the Norristown office, Jack Warner, continues to provide leadership and expertise within the healthcare liability group in King of Prussia. E. Chandler Hosmer brings his experience and capabilities to the defense of healthcare claims in both Philadelphia and the surrounding area, including Montgomery, Delaware, Chester, and Bucks Counties.

Our Casualty Group is comprised of nine attorneys who are led by Ed McGinn. These attorneys are poised to defend claims from premises liability to large construction defect cases and product liability claims. Our shareholders Bob Kelly, Ed McGinn, David F. White, Mark Riley, and Gordon Simmons bring many years of experience and expertise to the defense of these claims.

Many of our attorneys continue to handle cases in both federal court and the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas. We are well situated to be in Philadelphia very quickly.

Having a large office with the combined legal expertise of our many attorneys is certainly an advantage to us in the defense litigation practice, as well as to our clients.

Since our consolidation, both our attorneys and our support staff have exhibited great enthusiasm for our new office.
