Additionally, in recent years, a number of accomplished attorneys have joined the ranks of our litigation staff to meet the continued demand for our services in defending significant litigation matters.

Minority Hiring
We are, indeed, deeply committed to equal-opportunity employment and advancement. Our professional staff includes a considerable number of African-Americans and other minorities. These men and women execute important responsibilities within the firm both as highly effective defense lawyers and as valuable members of our management structure. Further, we enthusiastically participate in minority joint-venture programs to advance a mutually beneficial sharing of litigation skills and business knowledge.

The Attorney Recruitment Process

The Summer Associate Program
Our recruitment of potential top notch litigators begins with our Summer Associate Program. Each year, the firm is committed to hiring second year law students to spend the summer before their final year of law school working at our firm. The sole purpose of the Summer Associate Program is to identify new attorneys who may be offered the opportunity to join Marshall, Dennehey, Warner, Coleman & Goggin after they graduate from law school. Many of our attorneys began their legal career at the firm as a Summer Associate. For many, this is the only law firm they have ever worked at.

Marshall, Dennehey, Warner, Coleman & Goggin believes that a Summer Associate's experience during the summer should reflect what it is like to be a first year associate at the firm. The goal is to introduce each of the summer associates to as many different attorneys and practice groups as possible. This way, both the firm and the individual make a knowledgeable decision when making a commitment to join the firm.
