Victoria Crawshaw Scanlon Scranton, Pennsylvania
Victoria Crawshaw Scanlon joined Marshall, Dennehey, Warner, Coleman & Goggin as an associate in the firm's Scranton office in 2008. Prior to joining the firm, she was a partner in the Boston office of Morrison Mahoney LLP, where she concentrated her practice in the areas of medical malpractice and products liability defense. Ms. Scanlon is admitted to the bars of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States District Court - District of Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania. Ms. Scanlon is a 1998 graduate of Suffolk University Law School (J.D.). During her legal training, in 1997, Ms. Scanlon studied International Law in London, England, through the University of Detroit London Law Program. Ms. Scanlon participated in legal traineeships and internships in London, England, Ljubljana, Slovenia, and Vienna, Austria. Additionally, while at Suffolk University Law School, Ms. Scanlon was the Director and Co-Founder of the Internships & Studies Abroad in International Law and the International Director of European Relations for the International Law Students Association. In 1994, Ms. Scanlon graduated from the University of Rhode Island (B.A.). Ms. Scanlon was the 1994 Student Commencement Speaker, she was captain of the University of Rhode Island Debate Team, President of the Debate Society, and Vice President of Academic Affairs of Alpha Delta Pi. Ms. Scanlon was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. Ms. Scanlon was raised in Wellesley, Massachusetts. In 1997, through American Field Service's (AFS) student exchange program, Ms. Scanlon lived with a Finnish family in Vanta, Finland. Ms. Scanlon is a dual citizen of the United States and South Africa. In 2008, Ms. Scanlon married and relocated to Scranton, Pennslyvania.
