Tim has developed significant experience in defense of multiple litigation areas, including trucking and transportation litigation, professional liability, and products liability. He has represented a substantial number of commercial trucking companies, as well as owner operators. Tim serves as the Chair of the firm's Trucking & Transportation Litigation Practice Group.

For more than 15 years, Tim has represented a national provider of physical therapy and rehabilitation in cases ranging from class actions to in-patient, out-patient, and ambulatory surgery care. With 20 years experience in defending product liability litigation representing major manufacturers, Tim has also represented specialty manufacturers of both industrial and consumer products.

Tim is a graduate of Richard Stockton College. He attended the Dickinson School of Law where he received his Juris Doctorate Degree in 1988. Tim began his career with Marshall, Dennehey, Warner, Coleman & Goggin in 1987 as a law clerk and is now the managing shareholder of the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, office.

Tim has been named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer for 2005, 2006 and 2009 in the area of Civil Litigation Defense.

Significant Representative Matters:

  • Represented a subcontractor in a dispute concerning the design specifications and construction methods used in building a multi-level parking facility.  In that context, engaged an expert architect and successfully defended the work performed by the subcontractor client.

  • Successfully defended through trial a product liability action involving catastrophic head injuries sustained by a 5-year-old child where potential exposure was in excess of $5 million.

  • Successfully resolved a multi-party, complex legal malpractice action involving more than 10 years of underlying litigation over a family trust with a gross value in excess of $10 million.

  • Tried to defense verdict, after a six-week jury trial, an action involving a quadriplegic, persistent vegetative state plaintiff in a multi-party medical malpractice matter.
