Robert A. Kingsford, Esquire, joined Marshall, Dennehey, Warner, Coleman & Goggin as a shareholder in 2008 and is the Director of the SIU/Fraud Practice Group for the firm's Florida offices.  Mr. Kingsford has been practicing law since 1987 and has spent his entire legal career litigating first and third party insurance disputes primarily for special investigative units of insurance companies.  Mr. Kingsford has successfully tried numerous cases in both state and federal court involving healthcare and billing fraud, arsons, thefts, no-fault and bodily injury claims including his representation of State Farm in a federal court medical billing fraud case which resulted in a multi-million dollar verdict for State Farm.

Mr. Kingsford is a frequent speaker on insurance coverage, investigation, fraud and litigation issues including numerous in-house presentations as well as topics presented at the annual seminars hosted by the Florida Insurance Fraud Education Committee, the Florida Advisory Committee on Arson Prevention and the Medical Claims Defense Network.

Mr. Kingsford is a member of the Florida Bar, the Defense Research Institute, the Orange County Bar Association, the Florida Advisory Committee on Arson Prevention and the Medical Claims Defense Network.  He received his undergraduate Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with athletic and academic honors from Louisiana State University in 1982 and his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Memphis State University School of Law in 1986 with academic achievements including the Moot Court Board and Dean's List.
