Nicholas Bowers is an associate in the firm's Casualty SIU department.  Since joining the firm in 2009, he has concentrated his practice in the areas of SIU and Insurance Fraud litigation with a specific emphasis on medical provider and large loss fraud.  To this end, Nicholas has advocated defense positions in courts throughout the State of New Jersey and assisted in high-value medical provider litigation.

Throughout his career with the firm, Nicholas has handled numerous large scale arbitrations before the National Arbitration Forum.  In support of the defense of these matters, he has conducted countless Examinations Under Oath throughout the region.  Further, he has drafted numerous legal opinions for clients pursuant to complex coverage determinations and detailed investigations into violations of the New Jersey Insurance Fraud Prevention Act.

Nicholas is a 2009 graduate of Temple University Beasley School of Law.  While enrolled at Temple, he served as the Senior Note and Comment Editor on the Temple International and Comparative Law Journal.  Further, in his third year, he completed a clinical internship at the United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.  In this capacity, he assisted in the prosecution of civil actions under the Federal False Claims Act and drafted legal memoranda pursuant to pending bankruptcy proceedings.

Nicholas graduated from Loyola University Maryland in 2005.  Thereafter, he was employed on Capitol Hill at the United States House Committee on Ways and Means, where he conducted legal research and drafted memoranda in support of congressional consideration of bilateral and multilateral trade agreements.  He is admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey.
