A former member of Litvin, Blumberg, Matusow & Young, Michael Panichelli joined Marshall, Dennehey, Warner, Coleman & Goggin as a shareholder in the firm's Professional Liability Practice Group in July, 2004 concentrating his efforts in Appellate Litigation. 

Outside of the firm, Mr. Panichelli uses his legal expertise to educate other professionals. He has been an adjunct professor of civil practice and procedure at Villanova Law School since 1994. And, he regularly gives lectures on tort law, civil litigation and trial practice for many organizations, including Temple University's Academy of Advocacy, the Pennsylvania Bar Institute and the Philadelphia Bar Education Center.

Mr. Panichelli has authored numerous articles on a range of topics, including discovery techniques in product liability cases, joint tortfeasor liability and expert opinion evidence. His articles have been published by the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Institute.

His work with the Civil Procedures committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association has helped to review legal developments with respect to procedural rules. Aside from the Philadelphia Bar Association, Mr. Panichelli is also a member of the American and Pennsylvania Bar Associations as well as the American, Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Associations.

Mr. Panichelli received his Juris Doctor from the Temple School of Law. While there, he received the prestigious Barenkoff Scholar award as well as the Law Faculty Award for Distinguished Scholastic Performance. He also earned the Barrister's Society Award for Trial Advocacy and the West Publishing Award for Academic Achievement, an award he won for two consecutive years.
