Attorney Profiles

Melissa concentrates her practice in toxic tort, premises liability, and automobile liability litigation.  She has obtained favorable outcomes for her clients both at arbitration and in court. 

Prior to joining Marshall Dennehey, Melissa was an associate with Phillips, Goldman & Spence, P.A. where she represented clients in numerous types of litigation including, but not limited to: residential and commercial real estate, land use, employment law; construction defect, and bankruptcy.

Melissa received her Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University Law Center in 2003. While at Georgetown, she served as a delegate to the Student Bar Association.  Prior to enrolling in law school, Melissa obtained her MS in Taxation from the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina.  While in business school, Melissa was awarded the Ernst & Young Fellowship and served as President of the Master of Accountancy/ Master of Taxation Students' Association.
