Attorney Profiles

Lauren concentrates her practice on the defense of professional liability claims and focuses primarily on the defense of legal, broker and real estate professionals.  She has obtained favorable outcomes for her clients both in arbitration and at trial, and has experience defending professional liability claims in both state and federal court.  She also has extensive appellate experience and has authored numerous briefs for submission to the Pennsylvania Superior and Supreme Courts as well as the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.  Lauren also has experience in casualty defense and coverage determinations.

Previously, Lauren focused on the defense of medical professionals and represented nurses, physicians, hospitals and long-term care facilities in litigation matters. 

While attending the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, Lauren participated in the school's Civil Practice Disability Law Clinic and its Alternative Dispute Resolution practicum.  She interned in the Pittsburgh Area Office of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission where she investigated claims and participated in the EEOC's voluntary mediation program.
