Karen M. Van Oot Wilmington, Delaware
Karen M. ("Renna") Van Oot concentrates her practice in the area of workers' compensation and employment law. She began her law career in 2006, following graduation from Widener University School of Law. She worked in the area of employment law discrimination for Martin D. Haverly, Attorney at Law. Renna joined Marshall, Dennehey, Warner, Coleman & Goggin in 2007. Renna is a graduate of University of Delaware, with two Master's degrees from Bryn Mawr College, Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research (Master of Law & Social Policy and Master of Social Service). She worked for the State of Delaware's Department of Health and Social Services, then became an Executive Director/Regional Manager of the nonprofit agency Tressler Centers of Delaware, and later Family Services Association (Holcomb Behavioral Health) in Maryland. Her early career left her well versed in the areas of management, managed care, health care accreditation, nonprofit mergers, and employment supervision. Renna continues her work in the nonprofit community by serving on the Board of Rainbow Chorale of Delaware. She has also served on the Board of Delaware Center for Justice.
