The focus of Jane's practice is concentrated in the areas of construction litigation, products liability, premises liability, insurance defense, and legal malpractice. She has handled dozens of personal injury cases, many of which have involved fatalities, brain damage, and other catastrophic injuries. As well, Jane has handled dozens of multi-party complex construction accident lawsuits with claims of death and catastrophic injuries.

Jane also represents and defends a variety of manufacturers and their products including motor vehicles, construction equipment, construction vehicles, and power tools. As well, she has handled numerous premises liability lawsuits  

In 1983, Jane graduated from West Chester University with a Bachelors of Science degree. She then achieved her J.D. from Widener University School of Law in 1986. Following law school, Jane was an associate and later a partner at Kelly, McLaughlin, Foster, Bracaglia, Daly, Trabucco & White, before joining Marshall, Dennehey, Warner, Coleman & Goggin in 2004.

Representative Significant Matters

  • Successful defense of a commercial HVAC contractor arising out of a fire and subsequent death of two Philadelphia firefighters, significant injuries to a third firefighter, and severe property damage to a church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

  • Successful defense of the target product liability defendant in a lawsuit filed by a zoo stemming from a fire and subsequent death of 23 primates where the demand was $22 million.

  • Successful conclusion of a high-exposure product liability lawsuit arising out of a construction site accident where plaintiff suffered personal injuries when the front windshield of the cab of his construction vehicle fell onto his head.

  • Successful conclusion in the defense of a Fortune 500 manufacturer of compressors, arising from an incident during which plaintiff's clothes caught fire and plaintiff was severely burned.

  • Defense verdict in a case stemming from a residential fire allegedly caused by a defective water heater.
